BOOKKEEPER

The Commerce Connection is a boutique Financial Consulting and Bookkeeping business based in Sydney with clients Australia wide. We only support businesses in the Quick Service Restaurant Industry and we are growing! As a Xero Partner, we are looking for an Australian-based Full Time Bookkeeper who wants to work from home.

Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities:

  • Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts (bank reconciliations)

  • Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances 

  • Developing monthly financial statements including profit and loss and balance sheets

  • Preparation of Business Activity Statement

  • Verifying the accuracy of business accounts

  • Weekly Payroll processing

  • Month End and Year End Processing

Bookkeeper Skills:

  • Developing Standards

  • Analysing Information

  • Data Entry Skills

  • Accounting knowledge

  • Attention to Detail

  • Confidentiality

  • Thoroughness

  • Excellent Customer Service

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Certificate IV Accounting and Bookkeeping or Diploma in Accounting 

  • Xero experience
